Abstract
This study will explore how the Triangular Theory of Love exists in the evergarden violet character, which is expected to enhance the understanding of the audience and anime fans and readers about love as well as provide insight into the love representation that exists on the anime and how relevant these feelings are in the story of Violet Evergarden. This research uses content analysis with a qualitative descriptive approach with documentation techniques to research results.
The results showed that Violet managed to express her love in three components: intimacy, passion and commitment to express broad, strong, and lasting love. Where it is, according to Sternberg’s theory, the kind of love that is considered to be the summit of love, consummate love.
