ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine the influence of lecturer competence and selfefficacy
on student academic achievement at the Sriwijaya Tangerang State Buddhist College
(STABN). This research uses ex post facto quantitative methods with simple random sampling
techniques. The subjects of this research were STABN Sriwijaya students who had a Grade
Point Average (GPA) of 343 people. Research data was collected using a Likert scale which
has been tested for validity and reliability on research variables. This research has met the
classical assumption requirements. The data analysis technique for this research uses
multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research data analysis show that there
is a significant influence of lecturer competence and self-efficacy on student academic
achievement at the Sriwijaya Tangerang State Buddhist College (STABN) with a sig value of
0.000 and an Fcount value of 37.76 ≥ Ftable of 3.05 and an influence contribution of 0.295
or 29.5%. The results of the multiple linear regression equation test obtained were Y =
74.571 + 1.821 + 2.062. The results of the partial regression analysis concluded that: (1)
there is an influence of lecturer competence on students’ social attitudes in learning Buddhist
education if the self-efficacy variable is controlled with a sig value of 0.000; (2) there is an
influence of self-concept on students’ social attitudes in learning Buddhist education if the
self-efficacy variable is controlled with a sig value of 0.000.
